Took this at the Cranbrook Science Museum in Michigan.Birds were on these clear plastic moving parts, covering the walls. You were supposed to take a bird and slide it to show how natural selection works; birds sliding to another species demonstrated the passing on of genes. And the birds that didn’t pass on their genes would hit the end of their path and light up this circle.I slid an unfit bird over it’s death circle quickly and removed it so I could take a picture of the light. It was more difficult than it seems. But hilarious in its macabre reality. I laughed for a while, sliding the birds along the wall. I’m sure I looked like a crazy person. Mostly because my mother told me so.
